In order to continually improve our programs and our service to the community, we engage in rigorous tracking of our services. To achieve this, we collect data provided by clients as well as their demographic information, system involvement, and outcome data.

The consistent and concrete support provided by The Link FRC creates student success, boosts family well-being, and strengthens our community. We are very proud of the hard work and positive results our Family Advocates achieved in the 2018 – 2019 academic year.

PEI Family Advocacy Program
Through a school-based wellness program and the Mental Health Services Act, The Link Family Resource Center serves at-risk youth with mental health concerns, along with their families and caregivers, throughout San Luis Obispo County.
The Link provides Prevention, Education and Intervention (PEI) Family Advocacy services at the following 6 middle schools:
- Flamson Middle School in Paso Robles,
- Atascadero Middle School,
- Santa Lucia Middle School in Cambria,
- Los Osos Middle School,
- Judkins Middle School in Pismo Beach, and
- Mesa Middle School in Arroyo Grande.
During the 2018-2019 Academic year, The Link PEI Family Advocates received 230 referrals to assist families at these 6 schools.

Link PEI Family Advocates assist students and their families with the system navigation process of accessing public and mental health services, social services, and community-based resources. Family Advocates connect families with housing, food, job development, health care, tutoring, parent education, and treatment referrals.During the 2018 – 2019 academic year, 78% of students who received case management from Family Advocates demonstrated improvement in school attendance and behavior.
